Fun in the sun!
Just in time for my weekend and in need of good romcom, Evan and Brooklyn enter my ears. Brooklyn is given some time away by her best friends. A place at the beach is exactly what she needs. Except for the next door neighbor! Evan is a billionaire who lives a quiet life. He enjoys cooking for himself, doing the normal things people do at home even though he can pay for it all. He doesn't engage much with people on the beach, but Brooklyn is his exception. Her quirky personality intrigues him and the two end up on a treasure hunt. While enjoying the hunt and each other, they each keep secrets from each other that could explode their budding relationship. But is it really a relationship? After all, it's just a vacation. Funny, spicy and all around good fun, this story had me from the beginning. Plus Bell brings in characters from the previous billionaire books which just adds to the feel like these are all my friends. It's a great listen and made my Friday!
With names like Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke, I knew I was in for a treat! These two both have incredible comedic timing and their voices compliment each other well. The story flows with the spice and fun that I have come to enjoy from this team and always look forward to their collaborations.
