Summary

In Molly Harper's newest paranormal romantic comedy set in her beloved Half Moon Hollow, a vampire princess must learn how to navigate life as a college student - including living with her messy, annoying, frustrating new roommate.

Ophelia Lambert, 400-year-old vampire princess and college freshman, suddenly finds herself domesticated by humans and forced to suffer the indignities of dorm rooms, communal bathrooms, and a roommate with sticky fingers.

As one of the hundreds of undead venturing into postsecondary education, Ophelia has a lot more to learn than just "undead studies" - she has to learn to get along with her fellow vampire classmates and, worst of all, her human ones, along with getting back into the good graces of the World Council for the Equal Treatment of the Undead.

Can this once all-powerful vampire princess balance classes and campus life with romance, human and vampire relations, and not sinking her teeth into her annoying roommate?

With her "distinct, captivating style" (RT Book Reviews), Molly Harper demonstrates that she is one of the best voices in paranormal romance.

Brilliant series

This is a great addition the the series, catching up with Ophelia Lamber's punishment by the council. A fun listen.

A fresh addition to Half-Moon Hollow

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Her lovely accent and brilliant narration.

Any additional comments?

Ophelia has been terrorising humans and vampires alike for centuries. After being caught spending Council funds on a little sweet revenge she is sent to college with her undead boyfriend as a punishment. Slowly she begins to settle on campus and make friends, but not before some shocking violence and an Ophelia style ‘hissy fit’.
This is a very different addition to the world of Half-Moon Hollow. Ophelia is a prickly character and bases her undead life on cute twin sets, dry wit, and unashamed acts of intimidation. The reader gets a very rare insight into what makes her spiky and terrifying. In this novella we get to see her blossom into a regular teenager: or as near to one as she’s ever going to get.
If you’re hooked on the series then this is not to be missed.

Another Novella

Another Novella hiding as a full story?
And potentially in the wrong spot on the chronological order?
I'm telling you: I like these books, but this is all very confusing!
And I swear that teacher will come back later!

2nd listen introduction to Accidental Sire

Enjoy this series first time around and just as much to revisit. The mark of a good story is to be able to listen again and again.
