Then, the news gets worse - Gran could lose her house - so Red breaks down and goes to New York where the Wolfe shows just how bad he can be. Faced with a fate worse than death, Red needs a hero or needs to be one. Is there any chance to live happily in Ever After?

Loved it!
I really enjoyed the book. I loved how the characters and storyline were sort of a take on fairytales. Red mentioned his friend Hans and his sister Gretal as well as a friendly woman the town suspected of being a witch. A mechanic in the town was named Mark Woods. It took me a while to go ' ah, the woodsman.' Although this was supposed to be book 1 in the series, it was released in 2020, it is now 2024 and no other book in the series has been released. It will be a shame if this is going to be the only book because it was very good and I would love to read more about the people in Ever After.

Enjoyable Story
Kirt Graves is one of my top 5 narrors. Lovely tense drama with angst. Kirt as always did a brilliant voice over of The MC in the story. Tara Lain is a new author to me gives you a insight into models trying to make to the top of their careers and the sacrifices they have to make.

Loved it. Completely underrated author, she's great! Loved the themes and everything. Would absolutely recommend!
