Wholesome story not wholly convinced by Narrator
I love these books. They are the book equivalent of a Lindt chocolate advert. You can curl up in front of a fire in your cozy knitwear and fall in love with the story. Sadly the narrator changed for this book which is always a bit frustrating when you have created characters in your imagination attached to the previous narrator. I have heard this narrator in other books and she worked perfectly but for this I don’t think she was the right fit.
Love the book though and looking forward to the next.

Change of narrator
It took a little while to get used to the changes of voices but once I got past that I really enjoyed the story

I really love the new narrator! Story heaven
Have been so looking forward to this new Larkford book and it doesn’t disappoint. I actually really enjoyed the narration so not sure what other reviewers are on about - this ticks all my boxes for a really good audio book and I cannot wait for the next one. Brilliant, funny & heartfelt stories from Parkes yet again.

Fun, easy to listen to
Great to have the whole gang back again.
But WHY change the narrator?? Now all the voices are more or less similar.

Very poor narration with changed reader
I bought all three of the books to listen to in succession I cannot believe why the narrator was changed for the third one after such a superb performance by the other narrator in the first two. The accents of the characters were barely discernible and at times confused and I only persevered because of the storyline. The narrator for the first two was superb engaging and had all the different accents down to a fine art I cannot understand why she was not retained for this version. Story wise it was a great continuation and build from the first two.
