Belonging A Contemporary Romance by Liz Martin,
An intriguing romance, beautifully read by Karen Mount, who really brought the characters and story to life with a fantastic range of voices that enables the listener to be immersed in the plot. I could not wait to get into the next chapter.

Twists and turns!
This was a wonderful story and the narrator added so much, she had the sweetest voice and I loved her range of accents.
The story itself is highly romantic with a devastatingly lovely leading man. Full of twists and turns and takes and romance and family.
Highly recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed this
What can I say... other than listening to this book got me through a tough time whilst in hospital being monitored for complications following an operation. I found myself having to keep pausing it due to the pesky doctors and nurses interrupting my listening, but soon returned as soon as I could. I was gripped by it and couldn't wait to discover how it all ended. Liz Martinson has written a great story here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth a listen.

Highly Engaging
The story is easy to follow, as the characters identifiable problems unfold, although a little repetitive at times there was a good arc to the story and the narration engaged me from beginning to end.

Slow burn but I am probably not the reader base
When I started this I really did struggle both with the narration and the story and had to come back to it a few times. - at times I did want to throw things at Liz. So in hindsight I was engaged even though I didn't realise it. I would also say it is a slow burn for me as at a certain point, can't say when due to spoilers, the story ramped up and the narration style did so as well. I then got engaged and committed then to finishing and finding out how it was going to end.
I can see that this would appeal to other people from the start and they would appreciate both the story and narration more than I did.
I was given a free copy by the author via the book club audible listeners but the review is entirely my own.
