Here, Ram Dass shares his life’s odyssey in intimate detail: how he struggled with issues of self-identity and sexuality in his youth, pioneered psychedelic research, and opened the doorways to Eastern spiritual practices. In 1967 he trekked to India and met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba. He returned with a perspective on spirituality and psychology that changed millions.

Ram Dass telling his story in a very honest and open way
Read by the author himself…which is always better with audiobooks. Excellent exceptional life story, with valuable and witty humour dashed throughout. Enjoyed from beginning to end, a rarity in audio books these days. Learnt much listening to this. Would highly recommend!

Grows the heart
Probably the best audio book I’ve listened to. I didn’t want to put it down, as it were. The narration by Rameshwar Das is so clearly full of love for his mentor. Really beautiful.
