Great book
I’m a fan of Sarah Ockwell-Smith’s other books on Gentle Parenting and found this to be a really useful book at concisely explaining what is going on in the brain of a 0-5 year old and therefore what we can reasonably expect them to understand and why they behave the way they do. So many parts resonated with my experience with lots of ‘ah so that’s why they do that!’ moments and ideas of what to do to keep a baby and toddler stimulated without lots of expensive toys, technology or classes. Highly recommend!
