About this listen
When I decided to move across the country for college, I thought it’d be the perfect chance to reinvent myself.
But then one party changed the course of my entire freshman year.
And just when I think I’m about to drown in the foggy memories of my night spent partying at the football house, Daniel Bridges walks into my life.
Lindon University’s wide receiver.
A total flirt. And a total threat.
Because he can help take away the memories I do remember from that night.
What I don’t anticipate from the witty football player is the friendship we form as the months go on.
Or how easy it is to fall for him as he teaches me how to trust again…and so much more.

Excellent
Excellent writing. Skylar’s dealing with the traumatic event, Danny coming into her life, college, football, family - this was woven into a story that wasn’t easy, but felt so real and important.
Listened to the audiobook (narration slow - so listened at 1.75 speed). Amber Battaglia did a wonderful job.

enjoyed
I loved the narration of Amber Battaglia, she brings out the characters, emotions and brings it all together,
This book handles an awful situation, in a wonderful way. Learning to live after tragedy. It is honest and raw. I truly loved Danny and Skylar's relationship and how it slowly evolved to just what they each needed

Wow!
So going into this was told there were trigger warning and yes it covers the incredibly hard subject of assault and not knowing what had happened. B Celeste’s writing is just amazing, it so well written and shows that from a very dark place friendship and love can grow.
Amber battaglia’s narration brought Danny and skylars story to life in a wonderful way, loved Danny’s Boston accent.
Well worth your time to listen to it
