Summary
There are two kinds of women in the world - those I can bang, and those I can’t.
My teammate’s sister?
She’s a can’t.
I moved in with her to protect her from a nasty ex, not to be the next guy in line.
She’s the brains.
I’m the brawn.
She’s the fruit.
I’m the sausage.
She talks too much.
I don’t talk at all, if I don’t have to.
Should be easy to resist her.
But every minute I spend with Felicity is another minute she gets under my skin. She makes me feel like something more than a dumb puckhead with a big Zamboni pony. And it’s getting harder to remember why I need to keep my hands to myself.
Beauty and the Beefcake is a vegan-friendly standalone romantic comedy featuring a hockey player whose vocabulary is the only thing smaller than a hockey puck, a book smart but aimless ventriloquist with too many voices in her head, a dilapidated old house that may or may not be haunted, and no cheating or cliffhangers.

Standalone in a series
Aries and Felicity. This book kept my attention the entire time. What’s better then a man that doesn’t talk much getting together with a ventriloquist? Once again I love these characters and their relationships. Fun and lighthearted. The narration was awesome! I definitely recommend this book/series. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

loved the story
I loved this story but the heroine was a bit annoying with all the voices I think that was taken a little too far but it was funny at first but after a quarter into the book I found myself rolling my eyes at her.

Adore this pair!!!
Having read the books in this series I thought it was time to listen to the audio books.
Wen Ross & Virginia Rose are great as Ares & Felicity. Strong performance from both, loved their voices and the whole audio was easy to listen
From a fab series which I would most definitely recommend, Beauty and the Beefcake gets 5 great big stars from me!

What a rollercoaster read ~ weird and wonderful ❤❤
Absolutely loved this story with its hilarious characters especially Felicity and her multiple personality voices!
The growing relationship between Aries and Felicity was so sweet as they were totally different personalities.
An excellent storyline made even better thanks to the narrators (that beautiful deep voice of Aries sent shivers down my spine 💕💕)
I would have loved to rate this 10 stars because I really needed all the good laughs this story provided.

Loved this book
I read this book a while ago and loved it. It was hilariously odd, with Felicity and her hand puppets, the non-speaking Ares, Felicity's trouble seeking brother, Loki the monkey, and then a fabulously fun but wacky supporting cast (many of which now have their own books). I laughed so much. But also, I teared up a lot because underlying all these laughs were two people who were a bit misunderstood and I adored how they were opposites but yet, each other's biggest champions.
I was so happy to revisit this book via the audiobook. And my goodness, Wen Ross with his low but smooth voice was perfect for Ares. He really bought the character to life. But then, on a dime, he switched to a feminine voice and it was believable and smooth. And Virginia Rose was amazing!! She seamlessly navigated multiple roles and I especially loved (and snort-laughed) through her interpretation of the different puppets. Really, this was the kind of book that I would think would be especially difficult for the narrators but they did a beautiful job bringing this fantastic, funny book to life.

Fantastic
This made me cry in places ugly cry but it’s a comedy you say why yes it is and it is so funny that I laughed in so many places I cried and hiccuped and it was not pretty. However this book made me feel like I had been on a vacation as all good laughs should. There are some interesting concepts and just amazing characters.
Couldn’t recommend it more
