About this listen

Once upon a time, something wicked was woven. A magic was formed by darkness and pain, a magic that only the victim of a broken heart could have created.

The death of her one true love has forced Goldalynn to use dark magic. Determined to bring him back she discovers she must acquire the pelts of three bears under the light of the blue moon to fulfill the spell.

The blue moon has risen and the three bears are caged, awaiting the fate of Goldalynn's deadly spell. Then a collision of spells, magic dark and light create a curse. This curse turns the fur into soft skin and their paws into delicate arms and legs...this curse turns them human. Now these bears in human bodies must travel across the magical realms of the modern world searching for a way to break the curse.

This dark fairy tale is not the book your mother read you when tucking you in at night; you won't find a fairy tale princess who needs a rescue, but there might be a prince or three in this world. Find out as Beary Tales takes you on a magically twisted adventure.

A Furry Tale With Bite!

Another great & unique tale from Jennifer & her co-authors. Three bears are turned into humans by a grieving witch's magic spell in the desperate hope of bringing her dead, beloved husband back to life! We follow the journey of Lilanni, Nita & Katya as they seek to find a way to return to their bear forms with the help of their fairy godfather; in the shape of a hilariously camp, fashionista fairy called Uncle Butchy! The fickle finger of Fate, however, has a tangled web of love, hardship, loss & discovery lined up for them all along the way. Together with a unique, multi-voiced narration, discover a magical story of true love, forgiveness & acceptance. Ending was quite unexpected & look forward to a book 2 soon, ladies, please?! Do your ears a favour & listen to this recommended book.

A surprisingly sweary, occasionally funny, romance

Three bears are accidentally turned into humans by a witch attempting dark magic. Luckily Uncle Butch, an extremely camp fairy godfather, comes to their rescue. Together they need to find a way to break the curse so they can turn back into their true bear forms.
A surprisingly sweary, occasionally funny, romance, with hints from lots of different fairy tales.
The narrator was a little robotic and I have no idea what the different accents were. They mostly sounded Jamaican at first.
