Summary
Worth dyeing for.
Ten years ago, Ryan Comeaux was convicted of killing his girlfriend and was sentenced to life in prison. Now a witness has come forward who claims she was with Ryan the entire night and it’s not possible that he was the killer. But the local police assume she’s mistaken and aren’t interested in reopening what they view as an open-and-shut case.
The witness, Kelsey Spalding, has her own reasons for wanting Ryan’s conviction overturned and hires Swamp Team 3 to prove him innocent. Fortune has solved cold cases before, but never one with so little evidence and so many suspects with not only strong motive but opportunity. Can she solve a decade-old murder, or will the real killer strike again to cover his tracks?

÷Everything I ever want from a book
Just never change a thing about Fortune books. They are all so good I have to race through them but then wish I had 100 more pages.

Absolutely Fascinating
It Was a brilliant book. It was a little bit difficult at some points Had to reread some chapters just to get my head straight with it. But with everything going on I listened to it in one sitting and as usual was full filed and kept on the edge of my seat all the way through. Jana Deleon is the best writer for me overtaking several years of dedication and having a little list of favourites but she is by far the best and I don't want her to get bored with this series and go of track. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING SO MUCH HAPPINESS TO SO MANY PEOPLE 💓

I Really Like That “To Gertie” is a Verb!
A straightforward Easter in Sinful, Louisiana and a complicated Paternity Case. That’s all that can be said about this. (If I don’t mention dogs, Preppers, blow up Easter Bunnies, pigeons, firecrackers, Celia and Gertie).
Not to also not mention, wrongful imprisonment, stalkers, mental delusions and Ronald!
A pretty straightforward Easter tale…

Baskets and Beignets
Another terrifically funny murder mystery with many red herrings and some great action scenes. Fortune is able to solve the impossible with threats coming from the Major wanting to berry Carter to save his own neck. With brilliant narration again from Cassandra Campbell.

Complex mystery
A lot goes on with fortune Gertie and Idabel this story is no different. A lot of characters would still some of the laughs you expect the fortune takes on is quite involved in complex with lots of left and right turns but as usual, nothing gets in her way a good listen for good characters you should enjoy.
