About this listen
Trashing Writers of Bad Books for Fun and Self Confidence
Sample From The Book: Some readers might think this is going to be another crackpot book, written by some bitter person who has nothing better to do, than to vent his frustrations toward people who are not actually his problem...I'm not some bitter guy, I just don't like seeing all of these so called "authors" out there publishing their trashy little books. I'm not talking about sexy novels either because those are probably the best thing going.
I'm referring to books that don't meet a quality standard that we book reviewers know to be required for somebody to claim they have reached the level of being an actual author. I have reviewed lots of books that are trashy with their grammar and their punctuating and with their spelling. These do not get past me without a bash review being placed on them. I simply won't let them pass through my screening gates because they don't deserve to be recognized as books worthy of being read.
I sometimes have authors respond to my bash reviews, telling me that the misspelling typos I mention being found throughout their book, shouldn't be the case because they ran their book through some word-check or error-check programs but that doesn't mean squat! Those programs can be very unreliable and if they really want their book checked for spelling mistakes, they need to get an experienced editor involved or better yet an entire publishing company staff!
