About this listen

Three sisters, one deadly secret. Deeley is the fake wife of a gay Hollywood hunk. But now her contract is up, and Deeley is left penniless and alone. Devon is married to rugby-hunk Matt, and hosts her own TV cookery show. But behind her buxom facade, Devon is desperately lonely. Maxie is politician’s wife, and fiercely ambitious. So when Deeley threatens to expose their past, just how far will Maxie go to keep it hidden?

FirstRate captivating,sexy lose-yourself escapism

Any additional comments?

For six years devastating illness& excruciating pain have taken away virtually all semblance of a functioning life so the escapism provided by audiobooks have provided the best balm possible. However few books have provided the magical combination of necessary ingredients for chart topping absorption. Great characters, a plot with some real bite and a touch of the thriller, with romance & eroticism to beguile and indulge in.
This is one of the best feel-good audios with some real spice & pazzaz that I've listened to in six years (& there have been a lot). Excellently narrated by Chance's sister - highly recommended - more from her on audio please.

Sisters with daddy issues and rivalry

I really liked this book, even though I wasn't sure about it at times; but having read at any and every opportunity and till the end, it was obvious in the end that it lured or roped my heart in.
I can so relate to it having being 1 of the 3 sisters among my siblings: the rivalry, the envy, the competition, the intimacy, the hate but mostly the love, the self-insecurities, how we're affected by our daddy issues and mother's way of parenting...how our maturity depends of embracing and dealing with these issue..
I wasn't to glad to know the secret or at least most of it, binding the sisters in the first few chapters and so I felt the author had removed the thrill of suspense!! But as the story was reaching its climax, the author threw in an appreciable twist. I was thankful for this, otherwise it'd been just another typical girly read - saucy scenes and predictable storyline.
The performance was brilliant and believable, almost Hollywood production with distinct voices encompassing the rich distinctive characters!
I most certainly appreciated the chat by the author at the end!! A really good book, not great, but really good. Worth the time and money!!)

Good and also a satisfying ending.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, real characters with the seemingly perfect lives but apparent flaws. Fairly realistic and characters kept real with no airy fairy perfect heroines or heroes. Good light read. "The big secret" not as exciting a twist as expected.

OK

I did enjoy it but I don't think this was my favourite of the authors. Would still recommend listening to her other stuff though.
