About this listen

Sparks fly when a successful financial manager and a legendary football player enter into a legal agreement to have a kid together. They planned on everything - they just didn't plan on each other.

Stella Donovan's biological clock is a ticking time bomb. The successful financial manager has spent her adult life building a career and neglecting her personal life. Problem is, she doesn't believe in marriage. Not after watching her mother be treated like garbage by her father. Nope, marriage is not for her. All she wants is a baby. All she needs is a man to agree to her terms.

Dane Wylder, recently retired NFL tight end and future Hall of Famer, wants a baby. Naturally, marriage is off the table. He's not the marrying type. Women are great - as long as they're trying to get into his bed and not his heart. But after years of living only for himself, he's ready to be a father. All he needs is a woman to agree to his terms.

Contains mature themes.

Love the story. A pleasant listen

An excellent story with an engaging story line that gave me a lot to think about. The things you think you want the most are often the last thing you need. Stella and Dane took a while to accept that their needs had changed, and that denying the explosive feelings between them was pointless. It would have been nice to know what was happening between Dane and Stella's parents. I hope they both find happiness again. I really enjoyed this story.

Great story.

Oh wow I really really enjoyed this book.
P Dangelico's writing is so witty and smart funny and sweet..you have to really pay attention to the hidden jokes and the funny jibes they are hilarious.
Dane and Stella's love story is very unconventional at the start there is no love between them but an attraction and lots of dislike...although Dane is quite fascinated with Stella.
Stella wants a baby her internal clock is ticking away she is 34 and needs to think about having a family before its too late.
Dane is feeling similar feelings he has retired from the NFL and now he is conptemplating his life, Having a bad reputation doesn't help his cause to find a baby mama.
Until a mutual friend introduces them to eachother and wow it did not go well, when Stella calls Dane Fog Horn Leghorn OMG I was laughing so much.Stella always seems to be calling Dane names and Dane just takes it.
I have to say I Loved Dane he totally won me over along with Stella some of the things he says were swoony.
As they agree to a baby contract and spend time together, feelings start to develop between them and a undeniable chemistry that is just waiting to explode is bubbling away between them..and when it does erupt it is spectacular.
Kasha Kennsington and Iggy Toma are just brilliant they really made me glad I listened to this book rather than read it myself.
Their comedy timing and voice changes for different emotions was incredible.
They are absolutely perfect as Stella and Dane and their talent amazes me.
I LOved everything about this audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed listening to it..the ending was an ideal HEA for these characters.
A Superb listen that I highly recommend.

Great engaging story.

The kind of story you need to know what’s happening next. Before I knew it i was over half way through. Gripping! As mentioned in other reviews I would have liked to know a bit more about the parents, was it just a friendship or love blossoming between them also. Or even a comfortable companionship.?

Lovely read

Liked this story, easy listen, HEA. And funny too. Voices are enjoyable with what I think is a Texan drawl?

A nice little romance

Sometimes when you need something to keep you company and make you smile, this story does just that. Housework and a nice engaging story with enough realism and a few good laughs. I will definitely look for more from this author.
