The CIBUS Fresh company now recall Cibus Fresh, Jack & Olive, and Sprig and Sprout Autumn Turkey Sandwiches due to contamination with listeria monocytogenes in spreadable brie. This bacterium causes a severe and sometimes fatal systemic infection in the very young, older frail individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. Listeria can also trigger miscarriages and stillbirths. Affected are sandwiches with with expiration dates between November 2, 2024, and November 9, 2024.

These sandwiches were sold in six states: Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Do not consume these sandwiches and return them to the place of purchase. For more information, contact CIBUS Fresh at 1-317-981-3460 or email them at chelseam@freshedgefoods.com.
