The Celtics lost for the first time this season with a 135-132 overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis Wednesday night. Jayson Tatum tied the game up with a 3-pointer with 14.1 to go in the 4th quarter and that tied the game at 124. Pasca Siakam hit on a 3 that proved to be the game-winner with 7.1 to go in overtime for the Pacers.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics 37 points, but went 10-for-25 from the field and 5-for-18 on 3's. Jaylen Brown scored 25 but was just 1-for-11 from beyond the arc. Neemias Queta and Luke Kornet each had 9 rebounds apiece coming off the bench.

The Celtics trailed by as many as 24 in Wednesday night's game against the Pacers. The Celtics outscored the Pacers, 38-24, in the 4th Quarter. The Celtics scored 86 points thru the 1st 3 Quarters and it was the 1st time this season where they did not score 90 or more thru the 1st 36 minutes.
