the characters were lovely and the cozy feel of the whole book
loved the book and audio reading was fab really brought it all together feel like I'd like to read every year

Lovely cozy story
I loved the entire book - I was surprised by the narrator choice at first, but she really grew on me!

Original story well written
Original story well written. Interesting characters. However found the main character did seem to keep repeating the same phrase which slowed down the story’s progress.

Rediscover your magic
The story was gripping and interesting. I liked that the story was about someone similar age to me. The characters where well written and compelling. I couldn't put stop listening.

cosy & enchanting
this was a comfort autumn read, makes me want to both curl up with a hot cup of something AND take life with both hands and be a badass. Lovely 😌

Great narrating
The narrator really made the book come to life, and great to have an English accent for the book. Would really recommend to help bring the book alive

A cozy October read
This book was an enjoyable read, perfect for autumnal evenings. It seemed to balance all of the story elements - magic, relationships, challenges and romance without any particular part being “too much”
However I found the northern accents (though authentic) to be grating at times. And I figured out the “twist” ending quite early on in the story which affected my reactions to some of the events (though this may have been intentional)
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves fun fantasy and it really is perfect for a cozy read with something pumpkin spice scented nearby
