But it's all just for show, of course, because there's no way Daphne would actually start her new chapter by falling in love with her ex-fiancé's new fiancée's ex...right?

Perfect holiday read (listen)

Funny Story
This is such a gorgeous story! I only stopped to sleep and I’m so sad it’s over that I’ll probably restart the book again when I finish the other two I’ve got waiting for me (or maybe sooner?)

Predictable but so so sweet!
The reader is magnificent. I love her. The book is great, such a cute story. Such great feelings. Nothing out of the ordinary in the story, it’s predictable but it’s ok. Some time we just need such a book. And the best way to start of the new reading year!

An Emily Henry book never fails to make me emotional
Yet another Emily Henry book that hit a little too close to home and made me feel all the emotions. Although this isn’t my favourite book of hers, definitely one of my favourite ways that the fake dating has been done in a book.
The audiobook narration deserves 5 stars. Single narrators have an extremely difficult job in portraying all the characters in a book, particularly the MMC in this case, and on this occasion, the narration was beautifully done.

Such a feel good book
Emily henry to me is the queen of feel good / comfort reading.
Funny story was cute, beautiful, sexy at times and again a book about self discovery, friendship and chosen family as much as romantic love.
Well worth it!

Really well written romcom
I came into this with no expectations at all, and was immediately blown away by the quality of the writing, the humour and the dialogues. Romcoms have a tendency to be very hit or miss for me, some authors just aren't good at writing comedy in a believable way, but this one was really good.
Voice actor was excellent as well.
Will probably listen to this many times.
