one of the new classics
compelling storyline, touches of classic Wagnerian dark humour and perfect characterisation , Orginis has it all tbh. and at over 2.5 hours value too!

Decent audiobook
tbh I'm not the biggest Dredd fan so I can't review to much from a authenticity point of view but has a decent cast & well acted and seems to have the "Dredd feel" in narration

A great adaptation of one of the ultimate Dredds
It's great to see that feedback has been taken on board with the latest lot of audiobooks, though I would have liked to see Fiennes stay in the role as Old Stoney Face. Origins is a very wide-reading, very difficult tale to adapt and, I think, very easy to mess up. Thankfully, this one hits most of the beats perfectly.
The bits of narrative help a ton in directing the story, Adam Basil makes a suitably grim Joe and Fargo felt very authoritative. It's not the most nuanced adaptation, but it felt very true to the story and makes for a really engaging listen.
I really hope there's more to come - this was a winner.

Good stuff but I prefer the Year One adaptation
Love that these Dredd stories are now being made in to audiobooks and this version is a step forward in terms of production. However, I have to say I prefer the Year One audiobook by Michael Carroll in terms of capturing the heart, intelligence and wit of the old 2000AD Dredd stories.
