Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
The third book in the Sally Lockhart quartet, narrated by Adjoa Andoh.
Sally is 25, and somebody wants to destroy her. She receives divorce papers from a man she has never met, let alone married—yet this trap is so well laid that she is powerless to prove otherwise.
When custody of her precious daughter is awarded to this evil stranger, it is the beginning of a terrifying struggle in which Sally will have to fight, with a gun if necessary, for the freedom of her family.

Gripping story
I’m late to the party with this story as I listened to the Tin Princess first. I’ve listened to the whole story line from beginning to end and devoured every word! So beautifully narrated too

Detailed Dickensian style political thriller at an early stage of anti-semitism
Nothing to dislike and wonderful story of an era past yetstill relevant and instructive regarding feminism and
to any forming Reform party if it had a collective brain.

Great story plot and historical setting
Great storyline and intricate plot as you'd expect from this series. Combined with modern day issues, explained within their historical context - showing both the parallels of time as well as teaching some relevant history. Enjoyed listening a second time, almost as much as the first!
