Brilliant and Thought Provoking
I loved this book and thought it was excellent as an audiobook. It is a collection of essays from different women discussing what feminism means to them. I've never considered myself a feminist, thinking that men often suffered at the expense of women gaining power. However, I now realise this was misguided and everyone should be equal from the beginning and if women didn't have to fight for it then it wouldn't appear that men are suffering. These women don't just talk about women's rights but equality for ALL.

Very good, some stories are funny, some are moving
Very good, some stories are funny, some are moving, some we have heard already before. it would have been better if the stories were read our by the ladies who wrote them. the narrator seem like she was a teenager ..

A lesson we could all share in hearing
I struggled to get into this book to be honest, I just wasn't sure if it was going to be relatable or perhaps just listenable?
It was only within half an hour of listening that I understood that I was being challenged. Over and over again.
Some of the essays were harder to sit with that others, some riled me, others soothed me, some made me want to cheer, others sob.
I was mostly sad that each author didn't narrate their own essays - though understandingly hard to organise!
Would recommend.

INCREDIBLE
I couldn't stop once I started! Powerful, educational, laugh out loud funny and then the next chapter reaching for tissues. A sensational collection of similar yet very different perspectives by some pretty bad ass women. LOVED it.

Glad I stuck with it!
The beginning really isn't good, but it gets so much better. Very western centric though.
