Summary

Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Tilly and the Time Machine written and read by Adrian Edmondson.

Tilly is seven and a half - and about to make history.

When Tilly's dad builds a time machine in the shed there's only one place she really wants to go: back to her sixth birthday party, when she ate too many cupcakes and her mummy was still here.

But then something goes wrong! Tilly's dad gets stuck in the past and only she can save him . . . Will they make it back in time for tea?

Its a very good story.

This is a good book, they do the voices well and also the story is funny and a bit emotional 🙂🙃 ps I like emojis except they have no noses for some reasons!

funny time travel with no consiquences

Do you fancy a romp through time with no consequences or chances of meeting your previous self whilst trying to rescue your dad who is lost somewhere in the list of travels in the machine? No? Wrong book for you. Follow Tilly who is trying to find her dad, making mistakes, trying not to forget her mum and overcoming weird and frightening challenges. It was a fun read that can get your children learning some things without realising they are doing it.

Loved it.

I now can't stop using "a cat's apostrophe!" in everyday conversation. It's a beautiful story.

My 7yr old daughter loves this audiobook

Whenever we’re travelling a long distance my daughter always requests Tilly & the time machine. It has a bit of everything -laughter, sadness, excitement. Adrian Edmondson does a great job of narrating it and both my wife and I enjoyed it too - Well worth a listen.
