a bit slow - then then goes downhill
a slow start, but well read and lots of interesting detail to pique the interest - waited for it to speed up, but it never really did. Got about half way and it it sounded like it was about to take off - but no, a complete about turn, change of scene, different characters - I lost the plot and stopped reading - shame.

Edge of your seat read
Very good storyline and I couldn't read it fast enough. Surprises in every chapter and I loved it ...............apart from the ending! I felt high and dry after reading the epilogue and quite disappointed. I guess I just like neat happy endings.

Good story
A great storyline which kept me listening. Narration is good apart from the decidedly dodgy accent. A little disappointing at the end unless there is a sequel?
Ultimately I would recommend this book. If you like psychological thrillers it’s not bad.

Good twist
There is a good twist in the middle of this book, but I felt the ending was nothing special. Nevertheless a good listen. Aside from the narrators terrible attempt at a west country accent!
