Summary
When Jules Bright hears a knock on the door, the last person she expects to find is a detective bringing her the news she's feared for the last three years.
Amelia Quentin is being released from prison. Jules' life is very different now from the one she'd known before Amelia shattered it completely. Knowing the girl is coming back, she needs to decide what to do. Friends and family gather round, fearing for Jules' safety. They know that justice was never served; every one of them wants to make the Quentin girl pay.
The question is, what will Jules do, and which of them - her or Amelia - has the most to fear?

Exciting listen!
To start with, I got a little confused with who was who, but once the story unraveled, I couldn't stop listening to it, I really enjoyed this story, one of my favourite Susan Lewis books!

Always enjoy Susan Lewis books
Another great storyline. Bit disappointed how many times 'incredulously' was used but still loved it.

Heart wrenching story
Very sad at times but the ending was heart warming. The only grumble is that it seemed very short.
I've loved all of Susan Lewis' books so far

Two stories in one
Loved this book. Very hard to put down. At first you wanted to know what had happened to her family and then when you did find out there was still 17 more chapters to go, so then you wanted to find out if justice was going to be done. Lots of twists and turns, sometimes a little unbelievable perfect family life, but a well thought out story.

What a super book!
I am sorry I have finished this book. Could not stop listening to it,many a household chore got left. Quite complicated at first till you the idea of the two time frames, but soon used to it.
Excellent narration, good accents throughout. One of Susan Lewis's best stories.

Brilliant
What a fantastic book, was a bit unsure of the direction it was heading in to start with, but was soon gripped. Not many books bring a tear to my eye but this one did. Loved it.
