About this listen
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable, audiobook edition of The Solomon Curse by Clive Cussler and Russell Blake, read by Scott Brick.
There are many rumours about the bay off Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. Some say it was the site of the lost empire of the Solomon king, and that great treasure lies beneath the waters. Others say terrible things happened here, atrocities and disappearances at the hands of cannibal giants, and those who venture there do not return. It is cursed. Which is exactly what attracts the attention of husband-and-wife treasure-hunting team Sam and Remi Fargo. How could they resist?
Clues and whispers lead them on a hunt from the Solomons to Australia to Japan, and what they find is both wonderful and monstrous - and like nothing they have ever seen before.

Another excellent Fargo adventure..
Really enjoying the Fargo series. For anyone that isn't aware, Sam and Remi Fargo are husband and wife treasure hunters - who usually end up being chased by secret factions or groups who really don't want their treasure or secrets uncovered.
The Solomon Curse is along a similar vein, with a mix of WW2 historical Japanese occupation adding some intrigue to the storyline, along with some insight into some truly horrific occurrences.
Once again the book is narrated beautifully by Scott Brick.
This, along with the entire Fargo series is very highly recommended.

A darker (and better) story.
A much better story than the previous couple of books in the series. Not as formulaic this time. Also a lot darker theme. Otherwise you get what you expect from the Fargo's. Globetrotting adventure, treasure, exotic locations, action, light humor and as usual mind-boggling stupidity in ignoring risks...
Scott Brick - as always a good narration.
