Hope to for by James Patterson. Alex Cross is every where in this storyline.

A page turned this book is particularly psychological in this story with dozens of flashbacks. A good read, more please.

Why, WHY?

Firstly I have really enjoyed the Alex Cross stories over the years but it seems as though Mr P has begun to run out of original ideas. This seems to be a trend with these big named authors with long running characters like Reacher and Harry Bosch. Sadly this episode of Cross has more padding than a shopping centre Santa, less direction than a Polish lorry driver on the M25 and more predictable than a interview with Jose Mourinho. To quote Cross " why me god, what have I done to deserve this?".

Never again

What would have made Hope to Die better?

I should never have started listening to it.

Would you ever listen to anything by James Patterson again?

No way.

How could the performance have been better?

Pay listeners.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No, not one.

Any additional comments?

The book started badly and went quickly downhill from there.
