It's a tri-factor! I love Mildred Hubble, I love Jill Murphy who created her and I love Gemma Arterton and her excellent reading of this and of the whole series (I bought them all! :-). I have already put in my pre-order for the next installment, aptly named "First Prize For The Worst Witch". Can't wait for the triple delights of Mildred, Jill AND Gemma :-) X Wonderful nostalgia for oldies like me who grew up with these books, not just for the young ones of today, although I am glad they are enjoying it as much as I did back then! :-)

Mildred and Ethel in a froggy frenzy.
Back at cackles academy, it's not long before Mildred is in trouble again. There are people turning into animals an animals into magicians, all told wonderfully by Gemma Arterton with her perfect pronunciation an soothing tone
