Summary

A real witch never casually steps out of her body, leaving it empty. Eleven-year-old Tiffany Aching does. And there's something just waiting for a handy body to take over. Something ancient and horrible and that can't die.

Tiffany returns in this exciting new adventure, helped as before by the Nac Mac Feegle - the rowdiest, toughest, smelliest bunch of fairies ever to be thrown out of Fairyland for being drunk at two in the afternoon. They'll fight anything!

Couldn't stop listening

So funny, I love these books, they are for younger readers but can be enjoyed on another level if you're older,, (like me!) brilliantly read by Tony Robinson.

An ear full of joy

Pratchett for the you get reader bubbles in the ear when read by Me Tony R, very entertaining with the different voices. Does Pratchett proud, would prefer a dramatisation possibly but still grreat.

Always a joy

Absolutely magical, funny and captivating. This series of books is my absolute favourite and I can read and listen to them time and time again. I never get bored.

Book 2 Tiffany Aching

What is not to like about Terry Pratchett a great sequel with a subtext of exploring the monkey mind that is the “chimp paradox”

My two favourite things

Tony Robinson reads one of the greatest story arcs in the discworld series. My only regret is that it is abridged. When it comes to the wee free men and the world of the chalk, Tony Robinson has no equal.

Good but too short!!

I love Terry Pratchett, and Tony Robinson is such a wonderful narrator, so I had no doubt I would love this book, but it was just too short!
I felt like the characters were only hinted at, but I guess that's the idea, to get me to read some of his other books, and I will probably work!!
I love the Mistress Weatherwax, so it was brilliant to hear from her again.
If you're looking for a quick, funny read, this is perfect.

Terry and Tony!

Terry and Tony! Crivens, what a crackin' combo! This was delightful! I have loved 'The Wee Free Men' since childhood but had never delved into the other ones in the series and this was just brilliant. It has to be said, Robinson is the only person who is allowed to read Pratchett. I'm sorry, but it's the truth.

Robinson is perfect

As with all discworld you have to pay attention but it makes you feel warm

The creature

I’d idskied the death part and wish that the invisible person would be more like a character of importance and cleverness also wish that she would have said something to the mean witch that had teased her
