Summary

I'm safe.

And so is my family, all because of the sacrifice Stone made to save us.

I don't know what has happened to Stone or Walker, but I believe in my heart that Stone will do everything he can to make sure Walker never comes near us again. I know he's out there, and I cannot allow myself to think otherwise. He will come back to me, to us.

So, until that happens, and knowing that, I need to work to make my family and myself whole again. Life can bring unexpected joys and sorrows, and it's up to me to begin the healing process for us all. I need to be strong, and that's what I plan to do. I'm no longer a victim because Stone showed me that I was so much more. Life is worth living.

My name is Quinn, and as I awaken from my dark past and violent present, I will start to live. The future has never been so bright

Author's note: This is a dark romance. Due to content, this book should be listened only by those over the age of 18.

Great conclusion to this trilogy

This is the third audio book in The Journals Trilogy and I really enjoyed it. Again, the narration was really good and the book was easy to listen to. This really was a great ending to this series, the action was there from the beginning, I actually think this may have been my favourite out of the series – the author definitely seemed to save the best until last. There were some great and unexpected twists and turns in the story which the narrator really brought to life.
Overall a really enjoyable audio book and a great ending to this series! A must listen!

A good ending

Awakening Audio Book by D.M. Earl is the third book in the Journals Trilogy. After listening to the first two books I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one to find out how it was all going to end! I just had to know to outcome and see if there could be a happy ending for Stone and Quinn.
I was a little bit disappointed with the story. It felt like at times that the author had resorted to adding things in for the shock factor. I don’t think this was needed at all as the story was strong enough without it.
These bits aside I did still enjoy the story. I was instantly invested in the characters again, and not just the main ones. It feels like we have got to know all the peripheral characters so well by this point that I wanted to know about them too.
This was a good end to the trilogy and it was great to get the closure on it.
