Enlightening and superbly written
As a citizen of the United Kingdom this book was enlightening and scary in equal measure. Beautifully and written full of facts. Everyone should read it, and the world may be a better place.

Great read!!
Super interesting read about how society can be a victim of its making by basically lying openly continuously. The author also provided some interesting solutions.

An awful tirade of disinfo about disinfo
Disappointingly, "Attack from Within" is an example of how an author can produce disinformation about the topic of disinformation. The book presents a fervently one-sided critique, primarily focused on vilifying conservative politics and, more specifically, former President Donald Trump. The reader does not have to be a Republican supporter to notice how the opening chapter launches an intense assault on conservative viewpoints, highlighting various threats and incidents attributed to right-wing activists without clarifying that these extremists represent a mere fraction of conservatives. Additionally, the book completely omits any discussion of incidents involving left-wing extremists, thus displaying a significant bias and casting doubt on the author's agenda.
The narrative of authoritarianism is threaded throughout, with the text positing that such regimes gain power through fearmongering. Yet, it fails to substantiate claims categorising Trump as an authoritarian, only making vague comparisons to historical authoritarian figures. This approach simplifies complex political realities and disregards the nuances that differentiate leaders and their policies.
As the book progresses, the lack of balanced critique becomes more apparent. Chapter two criticises Democratic leadership minimally while continuing to equate Trump with figures like Hitler, Mussolini, and Putin, without solid evidence to support such comparisons. This biased methodology undermines the book’s credibility, presenting it more as a piece of disinformation than a scholarly critique.
The author consistently misses opportunities to provide a balanced view, instead offering generalisations and failing to substantiate her arguments effectively. By the conclusion, the book reveals itself not as an enlightening or thorough analysis but rather as a prolonged expression of bias. Readers in search of a balanced discussion will likely find the work disappointing, as it serves more as an example of how not to write a politically charged book than a guide to understanding the complexities of political disinformation.
