Self help novel
This book wasn’t for me. It felt a bit too much like a self help book presented as a novel. If you like that kind of thing, you’ll love this - I don’t.

So personal
I adore Harper's work... I am listening to her writings one after the other...
this was very special to me, I cannot come with any smart words to describe how this book touched my heart... just loved it...
oh... and when it comes to Abby Craden, well I must also admit I search every audiobook with her narrating.. she has such depth, such understanding of what is asked from her... totally adored...

Beautiful story
A beautiful book that I thoroughly enjoyed. More emotional than some of Harper’s other books but really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

worth it
the novella and it's end were needed, and the chapters flowed as if one book, with Harpers' excellent writing.
abby craden gives a great narrative performance, and it seemed like a whole new story.
depression is a terrible affliction, people can't tell from your appearance that you're ill, I've been in ellas' position and although it never really goes, I too am glad I was found in time, as I now live for the grandchildren I would never have seen.
seek help before you go too far.
thankyou Harper for the beautiful way your story deals with this taboo.

Disappointing and hard work
I usually enjoy this author but the main character was such a drain and hard work. This wouldn’t have been an issue but there is little storyline. I stopped listening with an hour to go. I’ve never done that before. The narrator is excellent however.
