Summary
My brother believes he made me a killer. The truth is I’ve always been different. I can smile while sliding a knife between your ribs - and not feel a moment of regret.
Until Leah.
A man like me shouldn’t have a family. But the minute I opened my eyes from a coma and saw her, I knew I’d forever be tied to her. A nurse who nurtures life. A mother. I’ve watched her for two years, unable to stop but refusing to give in to the need to have her. To love her. Until the night her daughter is taken. I’ll light up the world to get Leah’s child back to her. And then I’ll walk away for good. Not because it’s the right thing to do, but because I know how she’ll look at me after seeing who I truly am.
She’ll see the murderer inside me. And God help me, but she’ll be right.

Best so far
I liked Leah and Remi in the first 2 books in this series , and now we have their story, and I liked it better than the first two.
We are back with the Agozi brothers and all their lives entail, and I liked seeing them awhile down the track from the other books.
Hunter and East bring these stories to life and leave me wanting more.
I need Eli's story, stat!

Leah & Remi
If you are looking for a book to pull you in and keep you entertained, this is the book you want. Book 3 in the series, it can stand alone, but is better if you listen in order. Remi is back after being shot in the first book, and he is captivated by Leah, the nurse who healed him. It's 18 months later and he is following her and loving her from afar. That is until she comes home one day to find her daughter kidnapped. Remi is there in a flash, and the story takes off. Not only does Ella Sheridan give us an engaging plot, but the chemistry between Remi and Leah is off the charts. Levi, Remi and Eli have that dangerous enticement that kept me captivated. I love the bad boys who have a heart! And the story flows with exciting suspense. I really enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what Sheridan has coming up next!
The narration for this is impeccable. Stella Hunter has an incredible voice and she brings it all out with Leah. The fear, the passion, the motherly instinct all come through with her inflections. Jason Clarke comes through as Remi with the dangerous assassin voice, yet his love for Leah shines through. I love this team and enjoy when they are narrating in duet!

Following Leah and Remi's story...
First of all, make sure you allow for time to finish this book in one sitting because once you start, you really will not want to put it down!
I already knew I would love Remi from what I had already found out in Assassin's Mark and Assassin's Prey...
This third book follows the same fast paced, edge of your seat, well written, roller coaster but with the seemingly softer hearted brother... Even if a little stalkerish... OK... A lot!
Narration was faultless as per usual, but what do you expect!
