Summary
A certain college girl who's loved books ever since she was a little girl dies in an accident and is reborn in another world she knows nothing about. She is now Myne, the sickly five-year-old daughter of a poor soldier. To make things worse, the world she's been reborn in has a very low literacy rate and books mostly don't exist. She'd have to pay an enormous amount of money to buy one.

Detailed and excellently entertaining
Where’s the next one?! I’m totally hooked on the anime and can’t remember how many times I’ve watched the full series. I thoroughly enjoyed every single episode and even more listening to the audiobook. Myne truly is amazing and crazy about her books. Her determination to make her own books is something else. At times she can be a bit selfish but as she got used to being Myne, she learns to value her family and friends. This series is truly enjoyable and very addictive. This is highly recommended title and I doubt that you’ll get bored. Please can we have the next installment? Thanks for all your hard work xx

Great story and performance!
I am always skeptical picking up Japanese translated novels due to I usually watch their TV counterparts in Japanese and find it hard to like the English cast a lot. The performance here is great though, they do a great job at creating a child voice that isn't annoying or obnoxious and whilst not a perfect fit, it does fit Myne relatively well. The story is as good as I remember the anime to be and can't wait to see more of these books released, the series is amazing and having the audio book version is just a treasure for true fans to enjoy more content.

Loved this Adaptation
I’ve watched the anime adaptation for this series and its one of my favourites so I was really happy to see the light novel get translated. The narrator (The voice for Myne in the anime) was great not only with Myne but the other characters too. The only downside to reading the audiobook version is you end up missing all the illustrations that come with the light novel. Luckily I was able to find them all posted on the series Fandom Page.

Can't wait for more
A thoroughly thought out fantasy world. Explored from the perspective a modern day woman trapped in the body of a frail peasant girl
The world is so realised, the characters so enjoyable, and the performance is top notch

mixed feelings
So first of all, it was an interesting concept and the narration was really good, at least for me. I really liked that we only got to know about the world through a small childs view. It is a light readand BUUUT then came the Pig day part -.- and I understand that there are people who are far removed from the source of the meat that we consume BUUT FOR GOD SAKE it is not some kind of medieval, fantasy, iseaki trope. It is a still existing tradition here in Eastern Europe. One of my favourite! Reading about it in such a bad light I felt a little bit salty...
However all together I feel sad that I could find the first part in an audiobook...hope there will be a continuation.
