Clever Dealings

Got to admit I struggled with this one, yes it is a thriller a Financial thriller really not what I'm used to but sometimes you need to expand, into other fields which is what I did. I didn't think I would be this disappointed as I have dealt with figures most of my working life and then sometimes felt them boring, but to listen to something that is out of my league spurred me on. There is a lot of double-dealing scams cons to naming but a few, but all were brilliantly explained The characters were well thought out and executed even felt sorry for poor Logan and went at a good pace I have given this 4* as the author did a very good job and all came together brilliantly, well throughout and clever, and the narration was very well done, shame really it was not for me but don't be put off if you are into the world of finance, this could be for you,

Just like seeing a film

I loved this book, it reminded me of the TV series Hustle on British TV - a fast paced and interesting read with an excellent twist at the end.

Fast paced

A fast paced read with lots of twists and turns. A mix of thriller, mystery and murder that kept you wanting to listen to more. Although it had some financial jargon in it, it was explained well as part of the story. With a whole range of characters, I particularly like Ryan and Amelia. The plot kept you engaged and moved along at a great pace. A good narrator which helped this to be a great audio book to listen to.

Interesting

I found this book a bit confusing. There was a lot going on and a lot of carachters. It was probably my fault that I didnt love it because it is a fast paced story and there was danger and intrigue throughout which I generally do enjoy.
My main problem was that I found the reader difficult to listen to because her voice didnt really suit the storyline. She sounded a bit too genteel to be talking about things like orgasms. It was like hearing my nanna say it.
