Beautiful ode to family and relationships
I can only echo what other reviewer say, Anne Tyler truly understands relationships and family dynamics, their complexity, their sorrow, their joy and their rage. Fantastic listen.

I have read lots of Anne Tyler novels so was expecting these to be good, they were not.

Tedious
I was rather disappointed that all three books were based on difficult women who were self absorbed and made awful mothers.
It would’ve been refreshing if one of the stories had been based on an inspiring joyous character.
There was no Humour only angst running through the three stories.
I can only think that Anne Tyler must really dislike women.
