Summary

Pretty Paul Parsons is a self-proclaimed schizophrenic, dyslexic, transsexual with Alzheimer's, who is currently working on a process by which he hopes to cure hemophilia with acupuncture. These outrageous Appalachian aphorisms prove that no proclivity is too profane, preposterous, or depraved for the self-described "schizophrenic, dyslexic transsexual with Alzheimer’s". In a rare moment of clarity, Parsons offers up some clues as to the nature of his mindset, telling audiences, "I’m glad to say I never did abuse drugs. They did abuse the s*** out of me though". Combining Parson’s stand up sets with more, well, intimate studio recordings, An American Tragedy is sure to delight and disturb.
