Summary

Kylie's best friend Braxton is the hottest man she's ever known, with a rock hard body and a smile that melts the panties off every woman he meets.

Except Kylie. Mostly.

Kylie is anxious to get off the dating carousel and find something real. Despite the way Braxton tends to suck the air from her lungs, she knows he's trouble. He's just another player, and she's tired of the game.

But Braxton isn't the man she thinks.

The real reason he's sh*t with women is simple. None of the women he's with are the one he wants. None of them are Kylie.

He wants to love her in every way imaginable, but there's always something in the way. So he stays her friend, watching her date men who are too stupid to realize how special she is. Always worried the next one won't be. The next one will be the man who takes her from him forever.

Loving Kylie risks every fiber of their friendship, but losing her might be more than Braxton can take.

Loved it

Claire Kingsleys books are so well written and i absolutely love that they’re now in audible to listen and experience the emotion in the voices that play the characters. Absolutely loved it

Its just ok

The female narrator was hard to listen to. She is just reading without emotion but thr story is just typical friends to lovers.

Couldn’t listen to the female narrator

The female narrator made me give up on the audio version. I will continue with the Kindle version but her voice was not only very grating but her timing was off! First time I’ve met been able to finish listening to an audio.

The struggle is real!!!

I tried to get through this but, the female narrators voice is like nails on a chalkboard. A bad Jennifer Coolidge. The male voice was great, natural and in character. But, Miss thing…just no!!!

Sweet story

Ok, but the female narrators voice was not my cup of tea. More suited for childrens books.

could have been a decent audio, but...

Terrible narrator. That's it. All I could focus. On was the imaginary full stops. The narrator inserted into every. Sentence.
Joking aside, it could have been good, but the female narrator really was bad.

This was A first for me !

A book I could not listen to....... I love Audible and have more than 700 audio books in my library....they make my days worthwhile and I can listen as I accomplish many things, usually. Sadly the pace of narration was too slow 🐌 for me and adjusting the tempo did not help, also and mainly, I found the female narrator's voice extremely difficult and had to skim read the storyline to see if I could cope......I couldn't and have now deleted it .
