Summary

This compilation of the complete Alpha Underground Trilogy is chock full of adventure, danger, and romance.

Fen Young is a half-shifter whose inner beast is more mouse than wolf. Home is her castle, the only place she's ever felt safe.

Enter Hunter Green, an uber-alpha strong enough to stop traffic with a single look. He's handsome and enticing and seems like just the ticket to broaden Fen's horizons...until the uber-alpha brushes off his admirer and summarily rejects her from her home pack.

Now treading water in the no-man's land of outpack territory, Fen must confront a missing pack mate, a tantalizing stranger, and a serial killer targeting half-werewolves. Will she be able to shore up her waning power in time to save her friend...and half-breeds everywhere...before it's too late?

Not the best

I normally enjoy this genre but I found this difficult to get into. I didnt find the characters very interesting and I found myself not really caring.

I voluntarily reviewed an audio copy via audiobooks unleashed.

If I hear 'however' or 'after all' one more time..

The story is quite average although entertaining in some places. I didn't like the way it is written. The author has a tendency to repeat words so much that after a while it gets really annoying. The only thing which saves this book a little bit is the narrator, Angel does quite a good job with it.

Different take on the shifter trope

I usually like shifter books, but this trilogy was hard to get into. I found the characters very unlikeable in the first book, but they did grow on me as the trilogy progressed. There were amusing and entertaining parts but also a lot of information that wasn’t necessary to the story. I didn’t like the narration because it was too upbeat when the tone called for something more serious.

Written by wife (Enthralling)

The story was great really brought me into Fens character but in some areas i got confused or noticed grammatical errors, barely noticable to my sister but im a High Function Autistic woman and i cant help spotting minor details while visualising the scene surrounding me in my mind as if im looking through fen's eyes. I would recomend this to people with high active imaginations.... and to the author if they see this, thankyou for writing this, i thouroughly enjoyed it, you left just enough vague details for me to imagine myself as fen and live her life for the duration of these books.

Great

This one had great world building and was very entertaining. The characters were enjoyable and I felt invested in them. It is a fantastic book to keep you entertained when you are booked up with mindless tasks.

AWFUL don't bother

Terrible characters and plot. They're werewolves or half breeds or whatever but their abilities are hit or miss making the plot stupid because you tell me how well they can smell but then tell me they can't figure out who someone is by the sent stood outside the tent?!? sure thing. Terrible even for YA
