Riley, a New York workaholic, has health issues that leave her no choice but to move to a small town to lead a calmer life. She hates the huge mansion she bought on a whim and stands out like a sore thumb in the cheery community of Mystic.
Quinn, a Mystic-based contractor, has once again missed out on purchasing the house her family built. After saving up for years, she’s still not able to buy back her childhood home that her grandfather lost years ago. Along Mystic River.....
Along Mystic River is a lovely romance without that third act 'breakup' !
The narrator is one of my favourites but sorry Tessa your take on Quinn doesn't quite work, you seem to switch between butch and squeaky femme which is confusing ! There are times when i can't tell which MC is talking ?
I like that everyone gets along and there's a nice 'big family' thing going on.

A beautiful romance.❤
I Loved this storyline it was touching and pulled at my heart strings and I wanted The HEA. A lovely romance of hope, love and promise for the future in the town of Mystic river.
The narrator was amazing and she brought together the characters expertly and effortlessly in making them come alive and live.❤

Wonderful
Lise Gold has such a beautiful writing style and this is another joyful example. A perfect story once again and Tessa Stavers narration was utter class. Thank you to both xx (also, I love it when authors write in an illness or health condition and LG doesnt ever shy away from them- its comforting in its way to acknowledge these things but still write a hopeful storyline and dare I say richer for it)

poetry
beautiful poetic writing by Lise Gold and the sensual tones of Tessa Stavers, in this purely romantic story of a workaholic having to slow down due to heart problems, and a kind hearted contractor who never thought she'd find the one, set in a small town at a house that also needs tlc.
wonderfully uplifting without serious angst for those who want a true love story

Simply Beautiful
The story of Riley and Quinn ( great names) is touching and gentle, hot and exciting and with a wonderful happy ending. Tessa Stavers' voice beautifully brought some of my all-time favorite books to life, and Riley's voice in particular got under my skin during their intimate moments.
It's a little mysterious and some things that were hidden are revealed!
Dreams are fulfilled and unsuspected desires are brought to light. As I said, wonderful!
