Summary

Some feel depressed and lonely; others dread being alone and grow a fear of it, while others enjoy it and spend their time with themselves. Everyone deals with being alone differently. Furthermore, individuals who are not alone can feel lonely. All those who want to understand their fear of being alone and isolated, and turn them into self-love need to listen to this book.

This book will take the listener on a journey of discovery: what kind of isolation you are experiencing, where the anxiety and depressing feelings originate from, what they want to say to you, and how self-awareness will conquer them. This book recommends studying the discovery mentioned above closely instead of battling them, understanding emptiness and steps to overcome loneliness, as well as short stories about individuals who overcame loneliness.

Extremely Helpful!

During the pandemic, I cut off from the world. I cut off from family, friends and the people that meant the most to me and I was left alone with nothing but loneliness. However, this listen has made me feel hopeful in regaining my social life and I feel like it has given me a great overview of how I can go out there and make meaningful relationships

Effective coping strategies for loneliness

Loneliness is something that has hit all of us in the past 12 months. With being in one place for so long, and a lack of social interaction, it's become a nightmare at times.

Fortunately this book is here to lend a hand, and put a metaphorical arm round your shoulder. It gives a great overview on cultivating a grateful attitude, and developing deeper relationships with those you hold dear to yourself.

Feeling Alone in a Room Full of People

After being apart from everybody during the lockdown, it has felt lonely in a room full of people (on Zoom). This was a really empowering audiobook in the sense that you learnt to understand why you may feel lonely, but also how you can begin to feel happy in your our company, and the company of other people. This audiobook has been created at the right time and it was very informative.
