Summary
The Mad Dogs return to Camp Smokey in the North Carolina Mountains brings more changes than just their brand new downtime base. A new Council Representative is the least of the changes thrust upon the unit.
Promotions that are unwanted, more questions Doc needs to answer, and born shifters to be recruited in hopes that they can become Mad Dogs. But even with new allies, the Council and the Organization just won’t give the unit a break

What happened to the narrator?
I love these books. I bought this in ebook cause I couldn't wait for the audio to find out what's next. Now I've bought the audio to go with my collection and was SO DISAPPOINTED! The original narrator had a nice pace and did all the voice inflections that made each character unique and alive that when I read the book I had the voices in my head. This new guy? Where do I start? He reads so fast, bland and drones on like it's a shopping list after awhile he becomes background noise and I forget I'm listening to a story and loose track of what's happened. I am 3/4's through and was hoping its because he's new I even tried slowing the reading settings. Sad to say but I have missed the whole story, no idea who's who doing what.. Will have to go back and read it, shame. Please redo Allies with the original narrator and I'll buy again. Hope he at least comes back for the next book or I will not be purchasing audio version done by this guy! I think I'll try and return this.
