Informative and entertaining
If you enjoyed the series on TV, I'm sure you will enjoy this audible book. Graham narration is easy to listen to and just the right pace to take in the information. It is informative with the right amount of humour covering all aspects of our four legged friends.

Get that man a custard cream
Training through the eyes of the dog and how they are perceiving the situation.
Loads of common sense and kindness. Nice listen too, lots of humour. But what happened with Zeus in the end?

Great book
Really good to get the insight into why dogs act a certain way, would have liked to have a few more tips on how to train a new puppy.

Furry best friends.
Loved the dulcet Yorkshire tones of Graeme, providing invaluable advice, guidance and tips for both you and your four legged friends.
The chapters were easy to follow, they covered puppy training to saying goodbye to your faithful companion.
I am certainly looking at my behaviour around my two rescue dogs, luckily both have been fairly easy, but there were lots of points to take easy from this fabulous book.

Enjoyed this much more than I expected
Graeme has a nice, easy to listen to voice. The stories were informative and entertaining. The bit just before the end left me bawling like a baby.
Would definitely read anything written or narrated by Graeme in the future.

Great book and so I formative
Loved this book. It really is packed with so much advice and guidance. I watched the TV show by Graeme previously as well and found it absolutely engrossing. Graeme presents the book so well and I thoroughly enjoyed his narration, sense of humour and was impressed by his impressions of different accents, esp. his Scottish accent….I’m from Edinburgh ! Thanks Graeme. Can’t wait for the next TV series or book. I’m planning to retire soon and hoping to get myself a puppy one day 🙂 so this book will be invaluable to me soon I hope.

Excellent
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this! It was great fun, amusing and very reassuring. The only reason I have marked it down a bit is because the chapter on “kids and dogs” wasn’t really about kids at all but babies only. Having a 4yr old at home it would have been useful to hear some tips for the relationship between children (younger and older) not just babies. I was a bit disappointed by that chapter. A lot of this book is about understanding and reading your dog to understand how to train them and what they might be thinking which I think is probably more helpful than “do this” and “do that” although on the face of it you might think it’s not telling you a lot. I’ve never watched Graeme’s program on the TV but I will do now as it seems there is almost always an answer to fix a dogs problem which is so reassuring to know having a new collie puppy at home determined to chase cars! 😩

Enjoyable to listen to
Thankfully I don’t have a problem with my 3 dogs but always useful to get tips and advice as always room for improvement.
Enjoyed listening to Graeme while walking the dogs and learned as I listened,I was sad when it came to an end
