Summary

Waldo Rabbit is back! Waldo and Alice continue on their quest, now accompanied by the ogre Gronk. They are headed to Norwich, where they hope to find the third monster that will be Waldo's last familiar. But things are never as simple as they seem. An archlich, White Mage, and murderous rabbits all stand in the way. Yes, that's right, the murderous flesh eating rabbits make their appearance! Waldo is both the hunter and the hunted. Can he find his last familiar before his enemies find him? It looks like everyone is after the rabbit.

Love it!

This is a delightful series. I am totally attached to the characters- love the innocence of Waldo, dual personality of Alice, sass of Cronk and cold objectivity of Lilleth.

I’m really pleased that Audible includes the first few books in Audible Plus and you only have to buy the last as that represents good value for money.

down the rabbit hole?

the second book in the series, and like the first, it's a lot of fun.
We follow our hero and his crew on the second stage of the quest, and it's lively, colourful, well-written, and funny. We have all sorts of mythic beasts and monsters, and it turns out they all a hoot.
if I were to make one teensy criticism it's that it felt to me like the story finished mid-way through. It'll carry on in book 3 I'm sure, but left me a little unsatisfied. Or to be more positive, desperate for the next installment.
All things considered, a great story, highly enjoyable. More more more please!

ends too soon

great story with lots of fun expansion on the last story
I feel it needs more of a climax to make each book its own thing though
