Move over JG

One of the best stories I’ve listened to in a long time. The story was good, the narration was good. The end was thought through and still kept me captivated as to what the out come would be.
Shame it’s only one book so far. This would make a brilliant series.

Mixed bag

The story was ok, courtroom bits were best parts. Overlong and at times a bit confused. Maybe tried to include too much. Loose ends. Narration was strange not terrible just odd delivery. As a freebie worth a try, would not have wanted to use a credit on it.

Absolutely brilliant

Really makes you want to keep following the characters after the end is laid out. Interesting, poignant and nail bitingly good waiting for the verdict!

Great courtroom scenes

I throughly enjoyed this story. The court room trails were really well written and I had to keep listening well after bedtime. The love story was a little less well written and I found myself rolling my eyes on several occasions... not the authors strong point but still enjoyed the book. The narrator was brilliant. I will be looking for more of his work

Great narrator and storyline

I know nothing about law especially overseas, but this was written in a way it could be followed even the courtroom scenes were easy to follow. You got the lawyers perspective and then the youth who was trying to sue for money to keep his life long care package he would now need after getting drunk as a teen with his pals, smashing up a car and ending up in hospital. Records stated he was throwing his body about after the crash but within no time he was reporting he had lost all sensation from the neck down. So from one crazy drunken incident he had been left a paraplegic for life. He needed care for all physical activities so if he was going to live life independent of his family he would need a lot of compensation for a decent care package which this lawyer thought he deserved. He had already been told that with all the different physical issues he was at greater risk of facing from being cathetered and picking up infections plus skin sores and endless other physical challenges facing him his estimated life span was 50% less than average. There were people who were hostile about the situation due to him getting drunk and getting into a car although I don't ever remember anyone saying who was driving but regardless of this there were many who had little sympathy for him but this lawyer took the case on. It's well worth a listen. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Brilliant Legal Novel

One of the best legal plots I have come across on Audible - and I have listened to lots!
Great narration - excellent characterisation - Roger Wayne is definitely one of the best US male narrators - his female characters are exceptionally believable.
I hope there will be more from this author.

Wonderful

An engaging story with a complex, believable lead character. I binged listened over two days and nights and was sorry to see there were no more books from this author. More please!! I also loved the reading and range of voices.
