Summary
Sentinel warships were the answer to the Federation Wars. They brought peace and stability....or so they thought.
The Sentinels are a menace, terrorizing spacers across the galaxy in their hunt. But change is coming, and spacers across the galaxy will have to choose whether to fight for their future or not.
Quinton thought the Sentinels were malfunctioning fleets of warships, left over from the Federation Wars, but they’re much worse. They’re an instrument of control meant to hold the galaxy stagnant in its development.
With Sentinel fleets preparing for a major incursion, Admiral Quinton Aldren must get the new Alliance space navy into fighting shape. But how can he build an armada, when most spacers believe he’s the enemy?
Quinton will fight. All that remains is how many spacers will join him in fighting for humanity’s future.
Acheron Redemption is a fast-paced science fiction novel, in the classic space opera and military sci-fi traditions, by Amazon best-selling author Ken Lozito.

High hopes but the dullest book this author has written
Having been reminded by Audible that I had read the first two books in the Acheron series, although i had little recollection of them, I expected this book would follow suit.
The story and dialogue is sadly incredibly dull and, for the most part, it felt like listening to someone reading a technical manual as a bedtime story. It’s hard to say whether this was down to the narrator on the actual book itself but I find it difficult to recommend this book despite the potential of a good story.
