About this listen
Abba's Kingdom in This Life brings back to life Jesus Nazarene's version of the Kingdom of God that constituted his predominant ministry, by presenting it not from a religious context, but instead from a philosophical, socioeconomic, and scientific perspective. The author updates Abba's Kingdom for the 21st century in view of the general knowledge humanity has acquired from the times of Jesus of Nazareth until today. The author has made a historical review of the theology and religiosity created by different sectors of humanity around the figure of Jesus Nazarene to present the theological elements that distorted his figure and took away the sociological and scientific validity of his message. While presenting his historical analysis, the author integrates the sociological philosophies of Baruch Spinoza, Karl Marx, and Jesus Nazarene by incorporating the universal forces that have been impacting the socioeconomic development of Abba's Kingdom in this life: the forces of conatus, historic dialectic, and love.
This book demonstrates that Abba's Kingdom is not a utopian fantasy but an optimal socioeconomic organization that will operate in our real world and has been globalizing gradually but inexorably from the beginning of human existence. Finally, the author presents the characteristics of Abba's Kingdom in the foreseeable future. Although the central theme of this book is theological, the analytical approach leads it to cover a comprehensive range of topics on the entire social reality of humanity.
