Summary
Eddie: Cancel your dinky-little roomette on the train. I’m booking us two of the big bedroom suites.
Birdie: I’ll cancel it after you’ve booked the other sleeper rooms. And reimburse you.
Eddie: Don’t worry about it. Just cancel your tickets. I got this. Round trip. I’m on the Amtrak website right now.
Birdie: You don’t have to leave NYC when I do! You’ll hardly be able to spend any time with your Instagram girlfriend who you've never met!
Eddie: It’s fine. She’ll be fine with it. Cancel your tickets.
Birdie: You aren’t going to stop texting me until I’ve canceled them, are you?
Eddie: Damn right I’m not. Just do it. You can thank me later....
Eddie: Um. Did you cancel your tickets?
Birdie: Yes, Edward. I canceled them.
Eddie: Okay, because it turns out they only had one family bedroom from LA to Chicago. But the good news is I booked it for us. It’s the biggest room they had. The bad news is I booked it for us. And it’s the only sleeper room they have left now.
Eddie: In related news, there was also only one room left from Chicago to New York.
Eddie: Hands up if you’re excited! *man raising hand emoji*
Birdie: I am so mad at you right now....
Birdie: I’ve compiled a list of ground rules re: shared train bedroom. Check your email; please read carefully; and refer to it again on the ninth of February. Thank you.
Eddie: *nerd face emoji* Received. I have some notes.

Everything I want in a friend's to lovers romance.
Yet another hilariously funny book from Kayley Loring. I just can't recommend this book highly enough. There is zero angst and just a great ride all around.
The male narrators voice is so delicious, just beware that at certain points you may actually swoon so make sure you have someone around to catch you!

Cracked me up…
The dialogue was witty and the narrators were spot on 👌 I love a lot of Kayley Loring’s books (bar those with Shane East narrating unfortunately as he’s not a particularly believable actor) but this one has some of my favourite banter. Have listened several times and it still cracks me up. Looking forward to her next book.

fun and cute romcom
Kayley Loring is a new author to me and wasn't sure what to expect but everyone was saying how great this series is and the narrators are fantastic soooo. I really enjoyed it. Eddie and Birdie were very cute together and it was a fun romance. This was an opposites attract, hot actor falls for his best friend (the stereotype nerd girl).
The narration was fabulous - dual with a bit of duet when reading messages back and forth between the characters which was so much better than hearing the name before who was texting. Then special guest narrator, Dane Anderson, as the funny train conductor - I would love to hear his voice for entire audios (yummy).

Hilarious story and fantastic narration.
I’m never sad about listening to Kayley’s audiobooks and I’ve come to associate the lovely Mackenzie Cartwright with all the hilarious female characters Kayley writes. That woman has the best comedic timing and sarcasm. Love her! Connor is of course smooth as smooth peanut butter and embodies Eddie perfectly. This narrator pairing is a winning combo and with Kayley driving the writing, you just can’t go wrong.
I love that the majority of this book takes place on a cross country train. Birdie and Eddie are best friends and she is booked to take the train from LA to NYC because she’s scared to fly and her mate Eddie decides to keep her company. They embark on a journey that not only takes them cross country but into each other’s hearts.
As you can expect from all of Kayley’s books, there were snort laughing moments and drink spitting moments too. I love her ability to mix the feels with the hilarity. There is of course steam and plenty of funny and drunk voice messages.
If you need a laugh, grab this one, just be ready to make a mess with your drink!
