Summary

Their honeymoon abruptly ended by the untimely death of Alcott Howard, Clive and Henrietta return to Highbury, where Clive discovers all is not as it should be. Love this Henrietta and inspector series

Just finished the Veil -I was a little concerned about the narration initially but loved it , some parts with Elsie are a little tortuous but is in tune with her troubled head and heart. Well worth the listen. Looking forward to the next book A ring if Truth.
