About this listen

The final book in the Saints of Serenity Falls series!

In the blink of an eye, my life has become nothing but chaos.

Murder. Kidnap. Mobsters. Arrests. Betrayal.

As the carnage starts to pile up around us and the walls start closing in, there are only so many moves to make, only a very few cards to play.

Nothing is as it seems, we don’t know who to trust and the bodies just keep piling up.

But when those bodies become the ones I love the most, there’s nothing I can do but play this twisted game by its own rules.

Not everyone wins the game, but we might just die trying.

Interesting way to end

The ending to this book felt rushed and unfinished for me. I really enjoyed this series but was a little disappointed by this book.

It seemed there were things thrown in there just for the shock factor and that kind of ruined it for me. It was fun to see how Briar and her guys were able to work through everything that happened to them but I wish the writing in this book was better.

The narration by Cecily Foster and Alexander Neal was amazing and I loved their voices, they were so easy to listen to. The plot holes and rushing fell flat.

Loved the Series & Author! But Not That Ending.

3.5 STARS
Let me start by saying Books 1&2 were 5 STAR READS!! I LOVED this series, and writing the following words PAIN me, but this last book was a letdown…THE PLOT HOLES!!
+Fantastic Narrators
+Interesting Characters with Chemistry
+Fabulous Side Characters that Deserve Books
+Fascinating Plot
+Top Quality SPICE
+Wild Twists
X- Believable Villain & Satisfying Ending
If you told me another book was coming out, I’d sing this book’s praises! A fourth book would explain everything with Chase, the families, heck, the marriage, and the big *reveal* in this book!!! I LOVED this series, so I am frustrated by how the story ended.
At least Carter & Denton are getting a book!!! If the author plans on tackling those plot holes in their book, I really wish we were told, and then I could have loved this book more!
Audiobook, as usual, was wonderful!! Cecily & Alexander did great jobs with the varying voices, clarity, and audio equipment!

A Dark College Why Choose Romance

A Taste of Forever by Lily Wildhart is a dark college why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Cecily Foster and Alexander Neal. This is the third and final book in The Saints of Serenity Falls series.

I loved the first two books in the series, but this book fell flat for me. I really wanted to love it, but I just felt like it was rushed and so many questions unanswered.

I will say the spice picked up in this book and the chemistry between Briar, Sawyer, Asher, Cole, and Travis was off the charts. I did enjoy getting all of their points of views throughout the book.

Cecily and Alexander did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, college romances, stepbrother romances, or why choose romances.

A Taste of Forever

I have so many questions...
I've been anxiously awaiting the release of this book to get the finale of this amazing story I've been following but.... it missed the mark.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the story and the conclusion but I feel like there was a lot of stuff that happened in the previous books that were a HUGE deal that we don't get an answer for.
This by far was the steamiest, dirtiest book in the trilogy so it has that going for it. The way they all are more connected to each other is wonderful. I enjoyed it just wish we had more answers.
Overall, I would definitely recommend it to my bu77y, dark romance-loving friends.

My Thoughts on A Taste of Forever

I was so ready and happy to get started on this book. Especially after really liking books one and two. I had high hopes for book three. But unfortunately, I felt like this one fell short a bit.

What worked for me in this book was that the who behind the murders and the reasoning I didn’t anticipate. And I also liked that everything was solidly resolved on the relationship front with the harem. And the narration was pretty good.

But what I didn’t like so much was that the book seemed to be a bit all over the place. There were a lot of twists in the story that didn’t really seem to make sense or only seemed to be thrown in for shock value or just never got resolved. I don’t know why the twist with Thomas and Connor was necessary. What did Marco want from Travis? Plus, the scene at the end before the epilogue just felt rushed and sloppy. The reveal of the bad guy plot was one thing but to have so much go wrong and then cut to the epilogue with no real explanation of what happened was so disappointing. Also, in the epilogue I wanted more detail of their actual future. I want to know if things go beyond them living together. Does Cole go pro with his football playing or follow in his father’s footsteps? What was the deal with his mom? How do Travis and Briar handle sharing a sibling? Do Briar and Cole just stay engaged or do they actually get married? I had a lot of questions and it all just kind of left me a little unsatisfied not to get many answers.

My new favourite author

Briars story comes to an end! Wow this has been one hell of a ride, a rollercoaster ride really! There were highs, lows, twists and turns I never expected. I cried, laughed and loved the heck out of these characters, and it’s such a shame to part with them. The ending was slightly abrupt but that didn’t take away the love I have for this story. Lily is now my favourite RH author!

Intrigue and Hot Chemistry!

Briar has endured life experiences that no one should have to before she met her men which has shaped her into the person she is. The surprises keep coming as she comes face to face with her past and we also find out who is behind all the suspicious happenings in town and the person and their reasons will surprise you.

Travis, Sawyer, Asher and Cole are determined to protect her from the escalating threats around them even if that includes using all their connections to ensure that she has the resources she needs to get out of the predicament she finds herself in.

The chemistry between the men and Briar was intense and I enjoyed the friendship that they shared as well. I would have like a little more closure after the guilty party was disclosed however that didn’t take away my enjoyment of the story. The narrators were a great match for the characters as well as the heat and intrigue of the story. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

Twists

I was shocked at who the killer turned out to be I missed all the signs with my prediction. The twists of who Briar was related to I did not see coming. I just wished her mother and Chase would have got what was coming to them because they are awful people. Loved this series with Briar and her guys getting a HEA which was well deserved.

Epic conclusion

Wow! This was one massively epic conclusion. There are so many twisted secrets and lies. Briar and her guys have so many things working against them, and when things seem to possibly calming down one tr@umatic 💣 is dropped, then another & another! It is hot it will have your thighs clenched and p@nties wet.
