About this listen
Molly is a school teacher who is on the waiting list for a heart transplant.
Max is an architect with an eye condition which has left him virtually blind.
Barbara is a lonely widow, preparing to spend the end of her life in hospital.
Michael is a young man escaping a childhood overshadowed by illness.
Alex is a devoted husband to Lisa, and father to a lively six-year-old son, Connor.
A devastating event is about to bring these five strangers together. And when their fates intertwine, their lives will change in ways they cannot imagine.
Emotional, thought-provoking and bittersweet, this is a gripping love story for fans of Jojo Moyes and Amanda Prowse.

Another Dani Fabulous Read (or listen in this case)
Having read all of Dani’s earlier books I knew this would not disappoint - and it didn’t !
I was gripped from Chapter 1 as the lives of Alex & Molly were sadly intertwined.
A host of lovable characters were introduced from a shared experience (that my own family have a personal experience of making the story more real to me ).
All the usual and expected feelings one can expect from a Dani Atkins novel unravel through the chapters but with not the outcome I was anticipating - but was the right one in my opinion .
First audible version of the author’s work I had experienced and was enjoyed just as much as the written version.
Well Done, Dani - another beautiful story brought to life by you x

I found this heavy-going
The story started out well and there were many good parts as it continued but I found the narration uncomfortable to listen to. Why, for example, did one of the main male characters always speak with a whispery, breathless voice? And why did some of the characters need to keep beating themselves up, thinking ‘It’s my fault’ and constantly apologising? I listened to the end but it was almost a relief to have got there. Please note that this is only my personal view and I can understand that others may not share it.
